Dryden has managed to be present at all the major events in the Tribes History, despite wandering away for weeks, and even months at a time. Know for talking to just about anything, albeit in his vague sort of way. Dryden, incants by the Ancestor Lotharion, who he claims talkes to him almost constantly. This is typical of the followers of this trickster ancestor.

After arriving on Amnor Dryden joined the Lions Navy. He also left the Tribe and Armengar after some disagreements with various members of both. Since joining the Lions, he has made new friends and a few more death threats. Having recently been made Commodore of the Royal Fleet, a postion previously filled by a well known Farseeker(deceased), Dryden has become interested in the Children of Malar, via his good friend and fellow old man, Rhyan known to Armengarians and Lions alike as That Old Cranky One.
