Bear Beastkin

Cuclean is a Beast kin of the Bear and came into the world in 1079 to a cruel and unusual life. His parents were slaves on a distant shore, and as such, Cuclean was born into slavery. The first twelve years of his life consisted of malicious training by his "master" to become a pit-fighter. However, despite tedious and long years of training, Cuclean refused to participate in his first fight. He could not bring himself to attack the other combatant, a human of fourteen years old, and as such, nearly lost his life. His "master" was furious, and threatened to kill his parents if he did not fight in the future. Cuclean second fight came around, against the same human. Cuclean refused yet again, and his parents were killed. The following day, Cuclean's chains were found shattered, his "master" eviscerated, and no trace of Cuclean. The young Beast kin travelled south, eventually finding a small wood by the sea in which he would spend the next ten years of his life. Growing up in the wood let Cuclean settle back into his animalistic roots, and learned the basic ways of life. Over time he acquired new skills due to his surroundings. The area he lived in was severely storm tossed, and as such Cúclean learned quickly the art of building, as his shelters had to be strong to survive the weather. During a particularly dire storm in 1101, a large tree was blown directly against his home, launching Cúclean into the sea. Not being the best of swimmers, he clutched onto a large piece of driftwood, and subsequently lost consciousness. When he awakened, he was lying on the shoreline of a strange island. Gathering his senses and following his nose, Cuclean made his way into the heart of the island. After walking for several hours, he came across three soldiers about to kill a young defenceless Beast kin. His pit-fighting experiences kicking in, along with his sense of justice, Cuclean assaulted the attackers until the forest ran red. The young Beast kin safe, Cuclean promptly passed out. He awoke in the Tribe's camp, his injuries being treated. Mar'eck came to him and asked him about his past, and immediately thought him to be Tribe material. With a solemn second to debate, Cuclean accepted. Following the Volksraad in 1102, Cuclean, along with a multitude of the Tribe, became honorary Armengarians.

Cuclean, due to his slavery past, is extremely against the ownership of anything against their will that is alive. His pit-fighter background makes him a warrior of emotions; he will fight only when in a rage, but not if it overlooks his fervent sense of justice and honour. Being a naturally friendly person, Cuclean will defend and help anyone who he views as a friend. Currently in service of the Armengarian military, Cuclean also enjoys making the odd keg of mead, and according to several satisfied Armengarians, he damn good at it too...
