Bashu was born a human on a demon plane of existance ruled by cobra ancestors. The humans lived in small tribes who inhabited an area of mountainous forest. Once a child reached five they were allowed to wander off and were then reared by whom ever they meet. Bashu learned sword work as he moved to the border tribes and lived as a warrior. One day while wandering on his own he witnessed a strangely dressed creature being attacked. Bored and up for a challange he rushed to his defense. Intriged by the mans utterings Bashu followed only to find himself wandering from dimension to dimension, as his bodyguard.

Neither Dryden or Bashu were ever the same since. After his arrival on Amnor with the Tribe, Bashu was promoted up through the ranks, though on more than one occasion he ended up in the Box for various derelictions of duty. Each time he learned from his mistakes and never felt resentful about his punishment, rather he wore it as a badge of pride.

Bashu was killed by Conclave agents, while he was on a diplomatic mission to the Vipers.
